I will travel to you in those early weeks, so you don’t even have to leave home. If you would prefer, fabulous natural light studios are available for rent all over the city for an additional cost. I am happy to help you select the perfect spot and offer a variety of suggestions!

I always choose the room with the most natural light. Natural/light bedding is ideal and lends well to my photography style.

Sessions typically last 2-3 hours, depending on the baby. They run the show, and i want you to be able to feed whenever you need to, and tend to the baby without a worry of time running out. I promise you, that time just flies by!

I really like to keep it simple, keeping the little one as the focus without several distractions. I love photographing beside a stuffed animal to serve as a reminder of how tiny they were! Simple swaddle blankets, sentimental objects, nothing crazy! Fresh cut flowers or greenery can be a really beautiful addition to your photos. I am happy to use these to style some photos with the little one.

I always recommend avoiding heavy patterns, or shirts with big logos. Light, neutral colours and soft prints tend to work well with my style of photography.

I recommend booking a tentative date based on your due date within the first 2 weeks. Obviously, these little people can sometimes surprise us a little bit early, or they are just so comfy they want to hang out in the womb a bit longer. Once again, I ensure that there is enough time around your due date to accommodate those changes.
